Building a Wi-Fi Security Camera with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W
I turned a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W and an OV5647 camera into a Wi-Fi security camera with a Flask live feed, OpenCV motion detection, MP4 recording, and Google Drive uploads. The original project was straightforward—the fun part was updating it for modern Raspberry Pi OS, PEP 668, Picamera2, Python virtual environments, and current Google OAuth.
